Frequently asked questions
How do I know my Secure 3G IP phone number ?
The phone number is assigned by the network and is unique to each phone.

How can I know my correspondent’s Secure 3G IP phone number ?
Just ask them. There is no central directory.

Can I call Secure 3G IP customers that are not Secure 3G IP phone users ?
Yes as long as the person you wish to call is not part of a unique group.

What is happening on the Trunk Server & the Presence Server ?
The presence server notices the phone when it gets online. The Trunk server provides the connection of the end-to-end encrypted call between callers.

Can one trace my number through the servers?
The information who calls whom is present only for a brief moment on the presence server in
volatile memory and is immediately erased the moment the call has been set-up.
The Trunk Server does not know the Secure 3G IP phone numbers involved in a call.


Can I have my own server infrastructure ?
Yes!

How long does a Secure 3G IP license last ?
36 months.
